‘Rostec’ is major employer for gifted youth


Universities’ cooperation

The corporation cooperates with Russian leading universities, which are committed to 2011-2020 ‘Rostec’ Innovative Development programme implementation.

Bauman Moscow State Technical University, MAI, MSTUCA, MAMI, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow State University of Instrumentation and Informatics, Russian State University for Innovation Technologies and Business, MGIMO and others are the partners of ‘Rostec’.


‘Rostec’ has its own departments for specialist training and joint advanced professional training programmes.

Main advantage of studying in ‘Rostec’ departments is the opportunity of practical implementing the knowledge. Sergey Chemezov and other heads of the companies take direct part in educational programmes.

These classes usually are conducted as separate lections, workshops and special courses. The students are involved in such corporation events as large exhibitions, scientific conferences, seminars, panel discussions, etc.


 The corporation has multi-levelled system of internships. The students are learned by the leading specialists.

‘Rostec’ educational programmes presuppose introductory and pre-graduation internships with the following employment.

Over 90 students per year have internship in the companies of ‘Rostec’.

Department advantages

Over 50% graduates of the two specific ‘Rostec’ departments in Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and MGIMO are employed by the corporation. Half of the 2009 graduates got promoted. For example, Victor Rudakov, the MGIMO graduate, had covered 4 stages since he had started and is now the head of ‘Rosoboronexport’ offset administration.

According to ‘Rostec’, student and MGIMO contract, the corporation is to pay for the student’s target programme education; the graduate in his turn is to work in the corporation or its companies for not less than 5 years. Thus he gets job stability and all the advantages of the young specialist.
